On the Way to the Library

A Farmers’ Market and A Rabbit Trumped a Study Session

Yesterday I was off to the Harrogate town Library to prepare for next week’s marketing midterm. Not wanting to pay for parking, I parked high on Valley Drive and waddled into town. What I should have done was waddle straight to the Library. What I did do was Beeline it to a caffeinated beverage house.

That was a mistake, a mistake because there was a farmers’ market going on in town. Fresh Produce, meats, fish, honey, and breads were all on display. All I did was look, had my beverage, and went it to the library. Studying did not go very well. For some reason, there was lots of noise and distractions in the study rooms. The main distraction was thoughts of possible dishes that can be created from the bounty of the market.

To get those thoughts out of my head, back to the market I went. Below is my latest youtube video of one created dish. Over the weekend, I’ll try to create more video, and dishes, with the other stuff – namely the fish, cabbage, beets, and pumpernickel.

  1. I don’t know Honey, I just have a hard time getting excited about eating rabbit.

By the way, Oppenheimer was mortified! He has been under the bed ever since he heard. He was sure it was his cousin. I told him people in England don’t shoot cute little Jersey Wooleys like him. It couldn’t have been his cousin. I have assured him that you would never eat a PET! However, he remains under the bed until further notice. I’m sure he is thinking, “Don’t let that bad man eat me!”

The soon to be camera woman.
